A question, Really, what is man made climate change? To understand the truth of this, we need to go back to the beginning. In the beginning God gave authority over the earth, and all that is in it to Man. think about that for a minute. God told Adam to rule over the earth and subdue it.
‘God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28
When we study what happened through sin entering into the world, we see that it is not man who is ruler of the world, because, man, Adam handed that authority over to Satan. Jesus clearly states that the ruler of this world is the Devil. That He has Judge the ruler of this world.
and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. John 16:11 NASB1995
Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil. The works of the Devil is the authority that he has over mankind, and this world. To restore authority over this world and our circumstances to man. WE no longer need to be ruled by the world forces of this darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Through Jesus we have the victory. Though it is a victory that we have to take; we have to claim, and stand in.
Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7 NASB1995
The Bible clearly tells us that the responsibility for not being influenced and ruled by the Devil, the wicked spiritual forces; is on us we Have to resist then he will flee. We have to take up the armour of God. Jesus has defeated the Devil for us, taken away the power that he had over us but the devil is still in authority over the world and all those who do not stand in the truth of what Jesus has done.
The Word of God also tells us some things that are going to happen in the world. Things that are being labelled as extreme weather events caused by manmade global warming. Earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, Fires.
They are saying that the polar ice caps are melting, when God created the world in the first place there were not any polar ice caps. So the earth in some ways, could be deemed to be returning to its original state!
As I was reading through the book of Revelation I came across some things related to what they say is happening to our world. How much we can apply them to what is happening to the world today is up for debate. But they do show that because of the attitudes of man, influenced by the Devil what will happen to our world.
They are or will be ACTS OF GOD!
The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.’ Revelation 16:8-9,20-21
‘And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, *came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague *was extremely severe.’ Revelation 16:20-21
Islands fled away. Is this not rising sea levels? The Sun scorching men with fierce heat, That must be extreme global warming. Things that we are being warned about, that will happen if we do not change our ways. It has everything to do with the influence of the spiritual forces of the world. The same forces that are lying to the world that we, mankind, are destroying the world by using fossil fuels.
We are supposedly polluting the earth’s atmosphere with CO2 emissions, causing global warming. I read somewhere that there is one forest in Greenland that is capable of dealing with, absorbing, all of the CO2 emissions that are currently being made by man.
‘For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,’ 2 Peter 3:5-7,10-11
History shows us that the ice age happened about 4000 years ago. It was after the flood of Noah. It was caused by movement of the land into the continents, the world as we know it now. The cleaving of the waters below the earth’s crust and movement of the tectonic plates that caused many volcanoes to be formed and erupt. All of the emissions from the volcanoes blocked out the sun from warming the earth for a period of time.
I could go much deeper into this and the things, or truths about the earth, that evolutionists, with the wisdom of this world, do not want us to know or understand. Suffice to say that we have evolved enough to do damage to the earth, and recognise that we need to change our ways.
‘Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.’ James 3:13-16
I know that this scripture is not talking about evolution as such, but it does say that earthly, natural wisdom, can be demonic. There are other scriptures that back this up. Telling us not to rely upon the wisdom of the world, but to put our trust, out faith in the Word of God.
The idea/ideal of saving this planet for the future generations is like starting a false religion, with the earth as the idol to worship. This goes along with many other things of the wisdom of the world; things within the realm of political correctness, as far as race and gender are concerned, and other things too.
The wisdom of the world will do all it can to corrupt the truth of God. Ignore the truth of God, distract us from the truth of God. It is psycho;ogical warfare, a battle for our minds, our way of thinking. It is a, pulling at our heartstrings, getting us to feel guilty about what is happening to the earth around us.
Remember the scientist telling us that we were destroying the Ozone layer around the earth. That it was causing global warming. I have read that the Ozone has all but repaired itself. In about 20 years yet we are putting more pollution into the atmosphere than ever before. The truth is that the earth is quite capable of sustaining itself with all that man has to do here. God designed it that way.
The end of the world as we know it is coming, but not in the way that the world predicts. It will come because of the corruption of sin in the world. A corruption that will turn a large part of the population of the world against God, and the Lord Jesus, to the extent that they will go to war against God. The blood of those will flow so deep.
‘So the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God. And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of two hundred miles.’ Revelation 14:19-20
It still amazes me that the more of the wisdom of the world that I hear, the more it is against God and the salvation that Jesus purchased for every living person. It is a neglect of the great salvation. People don’t want to be saved, but they think that they will become justified by saving the earth. People have become misguided and deluded by the lies of the Devil.
As God’s chosen people we are supposed to stand out from the crowd, influenced by the wisdom of the world, not run with them and support what the world tells us. The world has become clever in aligning its wisdom with some biblical principles, in order to persuade us as believers that its reasoning is sound.
The truth is this. When this earth is done with, mankind influenced by the Devil have rebelled against our Lord to the end. To the day of judgement. God says that there will not only be a new earth, but a new Heaven too. When He has dealt with the beast and his cohorts, tossed them into the lake of fire. That he can no longer be a threat to God’s children, God will restore Heaven and Earth to how it was meant to be from the beginning of creation.
‘Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them , and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” ‘ Revelation 21:1-5
This is the truth that we should be clinging to, not the lies about climate change and global warming.
That is a bit of a rant, I know, but the truth is the truth.
