Climate Change Verses Acts Of God!!
Who remembers when bad weather used to be called an act of God. A lightning strike was an act of God. An earthquake, an act of God. A tidal wave, an act of God. A heatwave, an act of God. It was accepted that these things and more, were considered an act of God. It was even mentioned in insurance policies.
I am amazed at how the world has become enlightened, and decided that these things are no longer acts of God, but are actually acts of man. I have never really accepted these things as acts of God anyway. More due to the sin that is in the world affecting the world. Way back when Adam committed sin and handed authority over this world to the Devil, is when sin began to affect and infect this world.
Many Christians have been led into the lies about Global warming and manmade climate change. The lie that the use of fossil fuels is causing the excess of co2 in the atmosphere, that is warming up the planet. Our planet has been warming and cooling many times over for thousands of years, since sin began its effect upon mankind and the world.
For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:19-23
This verse clearly states that the whole of creation suffers pain, not just mankind. This also tells us that the solution to the pains that earth, as part of creation, is the revealing of the sons of God. the real reason that the earth is going through pains of childbirth, is the slavery to to corruption. This corruption has a lot to do with the wisdom of the world. Which in these days more than any other time in history.
God’s Word, in Philipians, tells us to be anxious for nothing, Jesus told us out of His own mouth not to worry. That we cannot add even the slightest to our lifespan through worry. In fact God’s Word tells us that we can extend our lives through faith. I remember talking to an 84 year old missionary to India three years ago, who was on His way back to the mission field, a week later. There is no such thing as retirement in the kingdom of God. Moses worked for God till the day of His death, 120 years old.
Jesus told us many thing about when the end will come for this world, it is in the hands of the Father. Jesus said that only the Father knows. It is, I would say, the only thing that the Father has not shared with Jesus the Son. )one of the things that will mark the coming end of our is something that the prophet Isaiah said. People come to the point of saying that what is bad is good and what is good is bad. This is the underlying truth about political correctness in many things.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20
Saying that things that were considered so bad at one time, and were against the law; The law that was built upon biblical principles; are now to be accepted as good. Not only that, but we can be persecuted, arrested and sent to prison for speaking up and standing up for the biblical principles that say what is right and wrong.
There are many false prophecies being spread about what will happen to the earth if we do not take action to slow down global warming, climate change. The ruler of this world, is influencing the people of this world to prophesy doom and gloom. Using our children as a bargaining tool. ‘We have to protect the planet from what we are doing to it, FOR OUR CHILDREN.” for future generations.
Does this next verse warn about climate change and rising tides? I see that it says perplexity among nations at the roaring of the sea. Perplexity? That means confusion, or misunderstanding, and fear. God’s word says that things are going to come upon the earth and men will faint for fear of them. That fear is now being promoted so much now in this climate change debate. Our children, and there children will not have a livable world unless we do something now
“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Luke 21:25-26
